The other day I was saying goodbye to my husband before heading off to a clients home. He asked me if I was working with the client organizing or baby snuggling. I turned the question around on him and asked him if he thought that’s really what a Postpartum Doula does all day. He wasn’t really sure what else to say. It made me think…he probably isn’t the only one out there that thinks the same thing.

As much as I love the part of baby snuggling…there is so much more value to our services. Being a parent is hard work and there is so much to take in, in such a short amount of time as the days go by quickly with a newborn.
